Krka National Park covers the greatest part of the Krka River and its surrounding area, stretching between Skradin and Knin. With its seven travertine barriers and a total fall of 242m, Krka is a natural and Karst phenomenon. Entry into the aquatorium of the Park with your own vessel is not possible so that boaters should leave their vessels moored in Skradin. Sailing upstream from Skradinski most is forbidden.
Excursions to the National Park are organized by boats of theNational Park that depart from the town waterfront. Entrance tickets for National Park visits are available on the nearby sales points of Krka National Park. Diving, spear fishing and recreational fishing are forbidden in the Park as well as swimming beyond sites marked for such activity.
